Xiaomi has launched the fourth smartphone in the Redmi Note 10 series in India on Thursday 13th May. The smartphone maker had introduced the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in March and has now added the Redmi Note 10S as another affordable option to the line-up.
The biggest highlight of the Redmi Note 10S is the presence of MIUI 12.5. The new software update from Xiaomi brings several improvements to the phone including the ability to remove pre-installed apps on the phone.

The Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on top of the power button and runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 which brings major improvements. MIUI 12.5 brings the ability to remove pre-installed apps from Xiaomi phones. However, there are nine apps that still can’t be removed.
The Redmi Note 10S is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 Processor. The phone has a Quad Rear Camera setup. It includes a 64-megapixel primary rear camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the Front, the phone features a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The front camera is placed inside a hole-punch cut out.
It packs a 5000mAh battery and have a 33W fast charging support in the box. The phone also has IP53 certification and dual stereo speakers.

The Redmi Note 10S price in India has been set at Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Smartphone comes in 3 Color Options – Deep Sea Blue, Shadow Black & Frost White. The first sale for Redmi Note 10S is on 18th May on Amazon.
